If your dog has broken, bored of, or simply inhaled every other chew you've tried — this is the one.
Coffee root is cut from the base of the coffee plant, not the branch. It's denser, more knotted, and more irregular than standard coffee wood sticks — which means it lasts significantly longer, even for dogs that treat everything else like a demolition project.
Why coffee root is different
- Denser than branch wood — the ultimate test for power chewers
- Naturally knotted and irregular — dogs love the varied texture and can't predict the shape, which keeps them engaged longer
- Frays into safe soft fibres — never splinters
- 100% natural — one ingredient, nothing added
- Sustainably sourced from naturally fallen coffee roots
Which size?
- XS — small breeds up to 5 kg
- S — small to medium breeds 5–15 kg
- M — medium breeds 15–25 kg (Staffie, Cocker, Springer)
- L — large breeds 25–40 kg (Labrador, GSD, Boxer)
- XL — extra large breeds 40 kg+ (Rottweiler, Malinois, Great Dane)
When in doubt, size up. A bigger chew is always the safer choice.
Supervised chewing recommended. Remove and replace when the chew gets small enough to swallow whole.

I originally ordered the small size suitable for dogs up to 10kg, my miniature poodle being just over 8kg but what arrived was far too big, although labelled as small. Looking at the photo with a tape measure that another reviewer posted of the large size, I see that the one I have is almost as big. Needless to say my dog took one look and walked away, completely unsure what she was supposed to do with it. Smart dog lolSo I've also acquired the XS extra small size suitable for puppies and it's what I would have expected for small. I can't say much more than that as the smart dog can't be bothered to chew it very much as it isn't tasty enough. She picks it up and gives a half-hearted nibble every now and then but that's all. At this rate it could still be here in years from now.
My puppy loves this coffee root chew. She's been chewing it for months and it's almost as big as when we bought it. It's helped her so much whilst she's been teething. Puppy gnats on this root daily, it's never splintered into chunks, but you do get the odd tiny splinters but not a concern as they are millimetres in size.
Arrived promptly and as described. This is the second one I have purchased and they both splintered slightly at first. However after the first week they are great. Would recommend and purchase again.
Nice bit of wood, smells oily, but my dog (who was wood obsessive) was not really interested, so recommend that you get a dmaller bit of wood to see if its going to work or not!!?
